Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the practice of inserting very fine, sterile needles into specific acupressure points on the body. The points are located on the meridians, where Qi (vital energy), flows through the body. Different acupuncture points are chosen based on each patient's individual constitution and symptoms.

Moxibustion (Moxa)

Moxibustion is a traditional medicinal technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small herb on top of the acupuncture needle to promote healing. The purpose of moxa is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of qi, and maintain general health.

Cupping

Cupping is a technique that uses small glass cups or bamboo jars as suction devices that are placed on the skin. This technique helps to break up stagnation and congestion by drawing congested blood, energy or other toxins to the surface.

Over thousands of years, the ancient physicians revealed cyclic energy flowing in the human body through specific channels. Each channel is associated with a certain internal system and organ. When the Qi in the pathways is obstructed, it can cause disease.
